There are different kinds of digital artwork. Mine is a painting. My program [ArtRage] allows me to paint like I would on a canvas. It is a bit like finger painting, but more complicated. I choose the texture of my canvas and the size and shape of my brushes and mix my colors. This painting was rendered in about 50 hours. :o)

My paint program [ArtRage] allows me to paint like I would on a canvas, just that I use a touch pad to move my tools. It is like fingerpainting, but more complicated. My program allows me to mix my colors, choose the size and shape of my brushes and the texture of my canvas. The program is available online, just Google ArtRage. I think they offer a free trail right now, where you can try the program for a week with no pay.

Very interesting. Do you print your work? If you do is the paper sort of canvas? Your printer must be high quality. I don't print my work. I did years ago. Now I like the glass or canvas rap around.

Your artwork is beautiful! The contrasting colors are so pretty, especially the green leaves against the blues and purples. A wonderful soft background gives your flowers perfect highlight. A talented work that is so pleasing to view!

This digital work is lovely, especially the background. The color blue in the middleground is just enough and appropriate for the contest. It really looks like a painting: parts like watercolor, some like soft oils.
