The impatient look on his face is very apparent and one can understand why. Must take some time and he must remain still.
Love the details you get on his facial features.
It's impressive to see such realism
In your digital Paintings.
Well done and Good Luck!

This piece is beautiful! The vibrancy of each color is nearly breathtaking, his expression is perfect for what you were trying to portray. I also like how the hand nearly disappears- it makes it that much more ominous. Excellent work!!

Aptly captured for the contest theme...with an obvious discontentment about the dual brow.

Thick impasto strokes rendered informally creating a great overall impact!

Subtle but interesting layerings of earth tones.

Great eye expression.
Impressive entry. Potential voters choice... Best of luck in the contest!

Thanks for sharing...

Wow...I am speechless . This is stunning. It clearly shows the actor's expression while being painted his face. Coloring makes this easy to enjoy its details. This surely deserves 6.

A great painting and wonderful capture of the less than amused expression of this actor reluctantly having his makeup applied before appearing in his role on stage. A mixture of damaged pride and impatience, perhaps arrogance, is captured well in this piece. Great colours and detail throughout, the proportions are also spot on and makes for a great piece and entry for the competition, best of luck! :)

Thank you very much for your encouraging comments an your luck wishes. He is indeed a bit impatient because he had to sit still and don't move the face for a long time, but I know him, he isn't arrogant.

Hi Anon

Indeed, he doesnt look happy about the part he's expected to play. Perhaps it's the ridiculous moustache he has had to cultivate that's got him in a bad mood! :) Lovely creation and good luck in the contest. R
