This is a digital painting with strong visual appeal because of the very expressive face. I also like the fine textures of the background and the fine light.
It is also a fine flow in the brushwork, and your attention to details is very good. Still I feel that the hand needs some more work. The thumb looks fine, but It seems to be something wrong with the other fingers.
I do however think that the format and framing works well, and the head and the hand are well placed within the frame. An all together lovely and well done digital painting, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Thank you very much for your encouraging review and your input. I will look at the hand and try to fix it. I smudged it with the make up color it is applying and tried to put hair over the fingers. I think I might have over painted some parts in the process.
