very nice scenic shot! I can just imagine exploring the waters edge for hours! I would love to see the shrouded mountains on a clear day!

This is beautiful landscape photography. The clarity of the image is good. The mist covered hills, the greenery in the foreground make it a well composed shot. Well done.! If you had removed the wire crossing the entire breadth of the frame, this would have made better impact!

Good initial impact. Nice, sharp focus. Good placement of focal point. The river leads the viewers eye right in. Fog isn't easy to work with, but you made good use of it. The contrast between the rich, green trees and the mountain mist/fog is perfect. Well done.

This is a lovely shot. The green is so vibrant against the water and the sky. The mist then caps off the whole scene. I like the action of the water too. Great composition. Good work.

Nik,
A beautiful atmospheric picture of the wilds of Connemara with the mist rolling down over the mountains & into the valley the pale sky reflected on the surface of the Lough or river in the foreground the trees on the left adding several shades of green & different textures under them I can see bog cotton their fluffy white seed heads bobbing about in the breeze & if you were lucky the sound of the Curlew too. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A very 'Good Show',Nikman!
This well photographed and enjoyably interesting scene reminds me a lot of how a view from the marshland up into the misty foothills of my native Adirondack Mountains sometimes looks as Summer comes to a close!

Such a great view Nik! The lush green trees and landscape stand out against the flat light the foggy day offered. The cable line takes away from the beauty as our eyes go straight to it.
I would suggest cloning it out as it is an easy fix. If you do, let me know, I will change my rating.

Thanks for your nice review! I will keep the cable as it shows that technology has penetrated this region!!

Such a great scene my friend. You caught the flowing creak waters with ripples which is a perfect foreground for the misty mountains in the distance. Nice composition. That line running across takes so much away from your great shot. With the color of the mist it would be east to clone out perfectly. Well done ~ Steve

Yes, I do understand what you mean about the cable but I will keep it in as it shows that technology has pierced this wild region!

    Excellent point.

The composition is very good with nice story telling. Good angle of the shot. The only thing I see that is very distracting is the wire running through the scene. You could clone it out or use your spot healing tool to remove it in photoshop. Otherwise it shows a good eye for composition and leading lines of the stream.
