Very nice line work and rendering. I have done this type of work in the past, so I really appreciate the work involved in the subtle shading and shadows.
Good contrast, beautiful lighting and imagery.
Her neck and shoulders are captured perfectly..like a porcelain doll.

Excellent as always! I especially am drawn to the position of the female in this one. The side face add wonder and enchantment to the entire piece. Shading and definition is excellent. You definitely give someone courage to try the portrait.

What a charming vintage portrait Linda. It for sure depicts feminine beauty, and I especially like that you have not over done the coloring to the lips and cheek. I also like very much the slightly textured background, and how you have used the light.
It is such fine lines to be seen in the face and the body, and the hair is gorgeous with the fine high lights and the wavy look. It is almost unnecessary to tell you that your attention to details is excellent.
The drawing is nicely framed and the woman has got a perfect placement on the paper, This is indeed a beautiful and well done pencil drawing, and I wish you luck with the contest.

A great sketch of this Gibson girl from the turn of last century, with brilliant authenticity and accurate to the style of the time. The detail and shading is phenomenal and in brilliant proportion, and the pose and clothing also create a very real image of this faux vintage piece.
