I, too, recently discovered the magnification of rain drops on leaves with a striping pattern. Yours is beautiful. The largest water drop is in perfect focus.

A very nice shot that makes the most of your shallow depth of field. I lie the colors and way the droplets focus the light on the leaf. Best of luck in the contest.

a very good and original entry to the water in nature contest;
what I like is the well known magnifying effect of the water drops; for this reason I would crop 1/3 from the blured top in order to have a better view of the sharp drops in the middle.

Well it looks like your efforts and quick thinking imagination paid off well, as you've captured a beautiful snapshot of nature in a fine abstract way here, with great clarity and short DOF capturing the interesting array of colours, the thick veins in the leaves and the water droplets all brilliantly, and from a great slightly diagonal POV, adding that extra depth to the piece. Well spotted, a lovely piece - great work :)
