To me the way it is shaped I'm thinking it's saying..ohno it's that time of year..lol. the clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The angle of the shot of this flower is great. The image is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

Beautifully captured image!
Each seed is captured in fine detail and in crisp focus!
The dark background really makes it pop with the golden yellow and green.
Nice job.

awww...you're a sweetie sg. I happily accept your cyber six. Will get to YOUR page and see what you've been up to. This is always the busiest time of the year here and I've fallen behind a bit in my reviewing. Thank you so much for checking this guy out....and for the very kind review.

What a pretty flower BB. Your commentary was really interesting and there were many things that I did not know about this flower. At first glance I knew it was yours as your characteristic placement and use of light are always so well done. The black background really brings out the vivid yellows and gives the scene a nice dramatic look. Great job BB. Hope all is going well ~ BB

Things have been crazy here BB. Having to do major work on my road (or the grumpy old snow plow guy won't plow me this winter)....also getting near end of gardening season AND time to do fire wood. So I've fallen behind on my reviewing but WILL get to your page soon- PROMISE! Always hope to see YOU at the end of a review and thank you so much for such a fine one for this guy. Oh and for mentioning the notes. THAT makes me happy to have you find them interesting and informative. How are YOU doing???

BB BB, busy as a Bee Bee. How does your garden grow? Sounds like you are getting ready for the coming Winter already. Where does the Summer go? I;m doing fine so far. Still a wierd feeling not having to 'Accomplish something' all the time. Just now starting to redo/repaint the back deck and fence around the Koi pond. It will be a job, but it will definitely keep me busy for a while. Will be heading to Mexico for a month within the next three weeks, Time for more Seascape photos. Hang in there BB and don't burn any daylight working on the road. I want it ready or I will simply drive by! BB

lol....never BB! Even if I have to come out and collect you on the 4W!! Mexico huh...oh you lucky guy. I will expect you to document it photographically the entire time so I can see it too you know. Seriously.

Hey BB, do you have an app called WhatsApp ? It is pretty cool and I can use it in Mexico to call the States for free. The cool thing is that I think I can send pictures directly from my iPhone to you and that way you can see some of the mischief I've been up to that day. I will use it to Supervise a couple of Grad students I am supervising this semester. Give it a try and get me on your list, or I will see how I can invite you.

Oh what a good idea. Yes BB will DEFINITELY check it out this afternoon. Going up to sugar woods to see if the blackberries are ready there so as soon as I come back I'll look into it....get on your list and let you know.

I Like, simple image, simple bi chromatic coloration, economy of effort but it works. Fine focus and clarity. The light, colour and the composition have worked well. Good effort!

Well done! The detail is as sharp as it comes. Yay! Wonderful angled presentation allowing the image to create a diagonal appearance through the frame. The bold contrast between solid black back ground and illuminated yellow petals is striking. Nice texture, color, lighting, dof,.... etc. etc. etc. Love it! Kathy

A favorite flower of mine from my garden in Virginia. You have really given us a wonderful presentation of its cone head composed and framed artistically. Beautiful color and detail too. Makes a bold initial impact. Great job, Deb.

You grow these then Ed! Aren't they wonderful? They are like the sentinels in my gardens....in four different beds they seem to survey the rest of the gardens. A bit pushy...lol....I have to yank them out of the beds I don't want them in. If they had their way would take over my gardens. Always happy to see you at the end of a review....thank you so much for giving this guy such fine one. I do appreciate it Ed.

Yes, had them before Florida plus the purple cone flowers. Praying mantises loved them. Check out my new post. It is a garden shot in Hawaii.
