Interesting piece.
I do like the graduated tonal values, light coming in from the left through the trees.
That is awesome.

There are some majors issues with the sky and foreground however.
I feel like if you cropped out more of the foreground it would be much stronger. The reflection in the water does not mirror what you see in the mountain beyond.
I feel like you rushed the sky and sort of airbrushed it away as an after thought.

Also, is really reads as a photograph with a few paint filters utilized in the foreground.
As I said, the center of the piece is just amazing.
If you cropped out most of the sky and foreground, just that slice is incredible.
I love the piece, but I think you need to stand back take a look and reduce a wee bit.

I like the river going down the middle giving us the reflections and a line to follow. The trees on the shore give interest. Very nice and pleasant to view. Good luck. Well done and thank you for sharing.
