grackles are already ugly when they are dry, in the Sunshine and of course, poor lady, her look isn't improved when wet;

Awe, poor little thing! She does look a bit water logged. That said, the detail and optimization of light could not be any better. The soft bokeh sets the stage for nice depth. I like it.
