A remarkable scene. I like this perspective that shows the Ganges as a broad body of water. The bathers are well shown and the flags give it a celebratory look. Best of luck in the contest.

I was in Rishikesh years ago for this festival and I have to say you guys know how to party!

Love this travel shot and makes me want to go back to your land of exotica and great food (by the way I'm vegetarian now again for a few months).

The image is soft however and over contrasted but the excitement is felt to the bone!

well, I bet it was good business for the food makers of the city!! and possibly the hotels. I notice some of the women remain totally dressed, even scarves when in the water. Amazing photo. thank you for sharing this interesting work with us..
