The placement of the key and the photography of the other subjects
is beautiful. Very classic, but warm feel to the overall picture. It reminds me a bit of something you would see in a historic movie with a secret room kept locked up.
The lighting is excellent and the dark background gives it a nightly and almost ghostly
look. I happen to love it and think it is extremely great work.

Very interesting shot. I like the candle lighting up the old metal and coins.
I have been to Alcatraz a few times. Quite a fascinating place.
The history and stories are rather haunting, kind of like your image.

a wonderful presentation of this piece of history and I love the structure of your piece as the chiaroscuro technique is seen to be working to its full potential as the light reflects brilliantly across the darker shadows and reflections giving this so much depth...a wonderful piece ,one which would be worth transferring into oils on canvas my friend ? (permission sought ?)
