Having grown up in ( and having several times almost gotten killed 'hopping' freight cars) in what was once a busy Railroad Town here in the northeast I'm really enjoying this new photographic presentation of your's!
It's interesting to me on a number of levels and it's definitely a lot of fun to view!

What a great nice mixed media shot.Beautiful nice scene.The Train,lights engine and details,his action and details,rail road are make a nice scene.Trees leaves and shadowy b/g are helping for the scene.I like this talent work.Focus color are excellent.Well Done.Thanks.

This is an interesting scene that one rarely gets to view when waiting in a line of cars stopped for a train. The angle that you took the shot results in the train tracks leading the eye into the scene. Nicely done.

Great job. Nice Focal Point and Point of View! Great Color! The Trees as the Background work Very Well and Enhance the Scene. It may be just a hair out of Focus but you can't really tell unless your staring at it lol Very Nice Framing! Excellent Timing! Great job Overall! Thank you for Sharing ;)

This is a wonderful capture Mary Eileen. The blacks are so dramatic and pure in color. I think a beautiful black is crucial to a good photo.... You have picked up a bit of blue gray in this..that's attractive as well...with the wooded margins and that bit of sky showing. The headlamps are a big plus...as is the trainman on the ground. All of it is telling the story of a moving train...or one ready to move. Diagonal tracks are well placed and framed...giving the train a way to escape the frame. A pleasure to view. Nice work...as usual!

We can sympathize with the kind of job he has--inhaling the carbon monoxide in his day to day existence...
Subdued colors matched the mood of the moment.
That glowing headlights may signify a brighter future for him
--perhaps upon retirement?
The dynamic diagonal capture of the railroad track lends an effective leading lines.
The flag man's vibrant (for safety purposes) vest somehow breaks the monochromatic color scheme.
Subtle illumination.
Impressive framing.
Sharply focused fine features & textures.
