A great shot, taken in a very classy old fashioned manner and well composed and structured to represent the image you wished and have succeeded in creating - a great idea for the competition and delivered excellently, the B&W filter being the perfect choice for such a choice of picture, with sharp clarity and short DOF, captured from the perfect angle to express a glimpse of what this strange place and period of time there must have been like. Great shot and excellent choice for the competition, best of luck! :)

Very nice shot. It almost looks like a drawing. I like the way the coins are strewn about around the key to keep your eyes focused on the key. Great detail, composition and lighting. Nice. Good luck in the contest.

Meg, a lovely entry with a key taking center stage. You will notice that the sharpness on the key is in the center of the shaft and then there is diffusion at the top and at the base.

Most likely you didn't hold your camera parallel to the subject being photographed and that has caused this discrepancy and has given a tilt shift effect.

Michigan Mike had pointed that out for me on one of my photos and it was a great lesson learned.

If you say so,Mary Eileen! : )
Your photographic presentation of this old key amid a pile of change certainly makes for an interesting ( and very enjoyable! ) image though!
A very 'Good Show',my friend!

A nicely composed still life that is particularly appropriate for this contest. I like the detail and the nice range of tones in the black and white. Best of luck in the contest.
