This is a cool technique on this photo. I like the way the tracks fade away and I love the shadows created by the shrubbery. The light on the front of the train and the worker is very appealing. Best wishes for placement in the contest.

A beautiful photo and a wonderful entry for the contest. It has everything in great focus and detail. Even more beautiful to look at with the nature in the scene.
Nicely done with soft vignette. Best of luck in the contest.

Looks like a good entry for the contest! Your fine central composition gives us a good look at the action and location. Exposure and sharpness are good. Well done and good luck!

Good Morning

I like the spirit of adventure here with the man coming out of the woods on the front of a train and searching the rails ahead. Good original thought.

Good composition and colors. I like the details of the rusted rails. Obviously not a main line. The trees provide an excellent background.

The lighting is very well done. The brightest area includes the main subject and trees beyond. Nicely done.

Thank you for sharing.

what a wonderful composition, love the details and depth and colors and that the track is on a angle taking us to the train, very pleasing to look at. Thank you for sharing. dale

Nice story telling and nice capture oft he shadow and lights and if the photo colors and saturation were not over done this could be an excellent shot

Thank you....I have been asking myself if maybe the colors were too saturated but I haven't had time to redo it. I think I need to go to my Topaz filter to work individually with the colors

A very nice shot with beautiful colors. The strong vignette really makes the front of the train stand out. Great composition with beautiful saturated colors. Best of luck in the contest.

Think although this fits the contest, and a different view, might be improved slightly if it had been a bit close in this, although showing the surrounding area also has a meaning, would be interested to see what you think...brian

'Very Cool'!
A well presented view of Engine number Six Hundred creeping along the rails through a thickly forested stretch of woodland!
It;s certainly an interesting and enjoyable picture,my friend! : )
