Does make one feel as small as an ant..wink. the clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The angle of the shot of this breath taking sight is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

Does it ever! I really had to look for the people. This photograph really shows the vastness of the Grand Canyon. Placing your horizon line high creates the depth and vast feeling. You did a great job in capturing the variations in the different layers of the rock formations.

How interesting it is only after I read your title and was looking closely that I saw those humans there on the edge of ledge. I adore being surprised by images and that is what your photograph did to me.
I do find the image a tad flat and that has to do with the time of day of your shoot. Had you waited for the golden hour when shadows are long and skies ignite it would have been a totally different shot....I know, I know, the helicopter only flew during these times.
You could use a ND filter in your software to darken the sky and distant red striated lines in the canyon somewhat.
It is a glorious landscape shot, sharp, and breezy.
I like it.

Yeah,we Humans are relatively small sized creatures,especially in comparison to a gigantic geological formation,but I'm not sure if I'd describe us as being 'insignificant'!

Almost any picture of the grand canyon is worthy of inspection. I see what is called "walking rain" in New Mexico in the background. It has another name in Israel. Anyway I just love looking at pictures of the canyon. It brings back so many pleasant and feeling of awe memories. Reasons for my five vote.

Look down on the trail. I think that you can see my foolish body walking down...lol. OK. I wasn't there then, but was earlier and again later. You are so right. Standing by or in or looking down from above, we really do seem insignificant. Nice image. Well executed.
