This is a very imaginative piece. I like the depth the dark background provides. You have captured the Wonderland feel of trees in winter and I like that this winter forest has snowy leaves. The cardinals add just the right touch of color.

This is indeed a beautiful entry into this contest, and I especially like that you have added all the golden birds, because it offers such a nice contrast to all the white. This almost looks like fairytale winter forest, and you feel like something magical is going to happen.
It is such lovely details to be seen both in the birds and the trees, and I really like the limited color pallet.
I also think the format and framing is perfect and with the vertical lines of all the trees, I think it is a good balance in the composition. A truly lovely and well done digital creation, and I wish you luck with the contest.

A brilliant entry for the competition, there is no arguing with that! Detailed and meticulous frosted and icy white trees shed snowflakes all across the forest floor in this thick forest of almost pure white; great detail in the trees and a wonderful touch adding the red robins for contrast and context - a lovely piece, best of luck in the competition! :)
