Very nicely done - at first I thought it was a photograph. Great entry for the contest - good luck. Love your technique and use of colors - very pleasing to the eye. The blue petals are extremely soothing - makes me just want to take a nap. Thanks for sharing.

A beautiful picture of this most unusual to me, Blue flower with it's long curving pistil & stamen laden with yellow pollen. Artistic composition, created with very skilful digital techniques (that to me are a mystery) beautiful choice blending & application of your colours in bringing this delicate flower to life.

This indeed a lovely little flower, and I don't think I have seen this before. I first thought this was a photo, which tells me who is behind this beautiful digital painting.
I especially like how detailed the stamens are, so it is no doubt that you have paid very good attention to details. I also like very much the limited color pallet and how you have introduced the light into this painting.
The format and the framing is just perfect and the flower has got a very good placement off to the right nicely balanced by the green plant on the left. Indeed a lovely and well done digital painting, and I wish you luck with the contest.

You have to keep your eyes wide open. The plant is a creeper, the flower is small, only about 11/2 inches.

This is a very creative entry for this contest. Most entries have been insects. The colors and brush strokes created in this piece are very soft but still textural. You also flowed the golden mean principle. Very nice.
