Wow! This is stunning and deserves every bit of a 6 I don't have. LOL! It's so cute, adorable, stunning, funny, creative, lovely, amazing.....I think you get it. Love the composition. I love the story. I love the dark line around the mommy lions mouth...as I find that to be the focal point. It looks like she is trying to catch a few winks, but still keeping an eye out for her baby. Such a sweet photo. Good luck...but, I don't think you will need it. Karen

Your photo is sharp showing fine details in places, but you have also lost some because of the over exposed body of mum and the top of head and back on the baby.
Personally I would have cropped this photo with quite a bit at the bottom to get rid of the over exposed area. I also think the composition would have been better balanced, because it is after all the two heads and face we wish to look at.
I think this is a truly sweet photo, but I think it needs some corrections. Still I wish you luck with the contest.

How sweet I love the expressions on both their faces. I really wish we as humans could understand our animal friends better then we do. I think we would be amazed:) Photo wise it is a very cluttered scene which is not your fault but you have done a good job of lightly blurring the background as much as possible. I might say cropping just a tad more off the bottom up to just showing the foot on the left would help lessen some of the problem. Just a thought no biggy, you have done a very nice well focused and fantastic capture of the mother and her cub. A great entry for the contest.
