I am a fan of going outside when it snows, to the woods or streams. Great DOF shows this large area of leafless trees and you can almost see them shivering in the cold wind. Sharp focus brings out the patterns made by the new snow as it sits atop seasons of layered leaves and the trail winding through the trees invite one to take a Winter walk on a beautiful snowy day. I love this. Thank you for sharing.

The photo does a good job of bringing the feeling of that first cold, crisp air of winter. I kind of struggle with where to focus my eyes in the photo. the colors do a great job of creating the feeling you are looking for.

Hint, allow your eye to follow the path into the background. The S-curved path becomes the subject.
