This butterfly has very pretty markings. They look so artistic and the powdery texture shows up well in this image. I think the colors and depth are very nice. The diagonal fill of the frame is appealing.

A beautiful picture of the Piano Key Butterfly alighted on the small branch at the root of a leaf some colours in the background matching those in the butterfly's beautifully patterned wings that stand out clearly from the background. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

This is one perky butterfly! I love the pose and the natural setting. The dappled green background makes its dark wings and body the strongest focal point. A very pleasing scene. Best wishes.
