Great info for the picture. It is amazing to know that the lions, and the vultures allowed this little one to have some food. Your picture shows perfectly the depth of the story.

What an interesting story and photograph with the baby among the vultures.
It is amazing how the animal world functions and one would not think that it would go this way. Great close up and detail as to see the baby right in the middle. Very good work, thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest.

Wow! That is such an interesting story you have in your artist notes to the scene. It explains it all. The initial impact for this is great as you want to take a closer look and see what is going on. That makes it to be a great contest entry. Love the details, the lighting, the action and the framing. Good luck in the contest.

This photograph tells the story of the harshness and sometimes tenderness of nature. What a unique experience you had with this shot. Thanks for sharing it.

I guess the behavior of the jackal is unusual, but I wouldn't know. It certainly looks a bit strange. I like the way you show him in the middle of all those vultures. Very fine detail and gtreat composition.
