Very nice play with the light and shadows. I like the clean precise lines and how well you created the shape and texture of the vase and the lemons. I think the brush strokes of white highlights on the flower petals fills them out nicely.

The way you have divided the background into thirds is interesting. The black highlights the flowers while the purple and brown of the table highlight the vase. The lemons are a nice touch and add an anchor to the artwork. Nice work and good luck in the contest.

Maybe the shadow behind the bottle. That would lead your eye to the vase and add a bit more drama.

Nice piece, very nice flower on the bottom, I think you could exaggerate the shadows on the subjects, give them depth, the highlights on the bottle seem not refined enough great start

A nice piece with a good comparison of colour, with the pastel strokes giving a good rustic and in places 3D effect, with the yellow and white flowers with thin green stems resting in the simple glass bottle/vase, wilting and falling to a degree, and the comparative lemons beneath showing the same colours and green foliage in an imaginative display, set against the interesting brown, purple and black background, altogether creating a good contrast and quite a different and unique piece, carefully composed - well done :)
