Amazing detail in the birds eye, body, feathers and beak. The diagonal wall that he is standing on leads your eye to the bird. The colors all harmonize well together. The muted green and brown background add a earthy feel and a great depth of field.

I was torn from this one of the one in white bird. This is so amazing. The body, the feather designs and colors make you stare and stare. Love the position and looking at us, the close up and the BG is wonderful. Love this!

You make me happy to see you improve beyond the normal shots, you reach inside of the Enviroment of the animals and take shots of what hardly any of us will see or be near. You are a designer of photos. Your well studied in presentation. Your colorful with colors, just enough to wet our appetite and suck us into your picture. That my dear is the art of photography! You have no limit. Never set limits because if you do, you will go back to the normal. There are to many "Normal's" out there already, so stay ahead by miles and miles. I know you know this already because it shows up in your work here. I am confirming you. I agree with you. You have the best shots out of hundreds here. Trust that. Believe that. So be it then. This little guy is so pretty. I came to like these guys when my daughter went to Costa Rica with her 7th grade class. She took lots of pics. I love the grey color. Your bird is so clear and the colors are crisp. Great photo, thank for sharing.

Wow. You must be awful close to be shooting at 240 mm. No wonder the detail is so good. Beautiful colors and a great profile against an outstanding soft background.
