From the archives huh? Yes I cheated and wanted to see the ratings of this magnificent shot. Just a wonderful scene with sharp focus, great colors and perfect pose and placement. Another great one that others need to see. Hope you don't mind ~ Steve

It was at Flamingo... so you were probably shooting horses ;) thanks so much Sange!! I just found this one in some archieves from beginning of the year.

The expression on the birds face us like he is saying "what!". Lol. The capture of the light is great. The clarity is great. The angle of the shot of this bird is great. The image is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

This is beautiful. I have never seen a heron this color. The green feathers are just lovely. It's almost as though he is wearing a rustic coat just for fall. The lighting is perfect as is the background.
