Wow, that is close and such excellent detail stands out in his face and head feathers. I like the sparkle in his eye and the angle of his face shows the bill color so nicely. He's so cute he's almost kissable.

A beautiful picture of the Cormorant up close & very personal as it looks as if it were about to start preening it's shoulder the view in the background making the perfect backdrop. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Very cool shot of commemorate that you have captured. The close-up and the detail in the head and body is excellent. I do like the background as it shows where the subject is. Detail, composition, colors, depth of field are all very good.

This is a fine close up of this cormorant, Helvi. And yes...I see the water droplets.
You have really done a fine job of working with the light and shadows here...as he has turned his head out of the light forcing you to use it almost as back lighting. Sometimes a face can easily get lost in shadows in that situation. But you have sustained the clarity of the eye and the lovely color and detail on the beak. And I like the position of the head. He has a bit of an aloof look for you, eh? Beautiful water colors and brilliant sky...horizon may be just a bit low on the left. But the scene is a beautiful backdrop for your successful capture of this bird. Congratulations! And thank you for sharing.
