lolol. it does look like the bird is saying.."what the heck are you doing?" lol. cute capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of the close up of this curious bird is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

A great view of the cormorant with sharp detail and a really nice eye. I am not so sure I like the background to be in such sharp focus because to me it seems unnatural. I am used to shooting birds with a telephoto near the close focusing limit of the lens and this always gives you soft backgrounds that I have come to love.

Hi Mike. Than you for the wonderful review it means a LOT! I know where you're coming from when speaking about the background. I like soft blurred backgrounds too. This image was one of those exceptions. I just didn't care for it.. I appreciate your sharing your thoughts. it always nice to know how other artists feel on how you presented your work.
