The vibrant reds in this piece demonstrate the agony she must have suffered. The can symbolizes her debilitation. The flowers symbolize the hope once you rescued her. A very meaningful composition.

thank you-- I was silent for many years, firstly I did not understand, we are excellent citizens, why? this is UK not Russia- something we did not know is that the Brits are cunning, evil devils at times, and also, we had helped feed jews during the war.. so why?. when it began to dawn on me, I hoped to save my young children. Instead the Human Research lab really set on them. I don't make a point of telling, as lab has ordered, I am not to be listened to, so no UK paper will print anything I say etc but I stopped lying for them, covering with normal stories, I just say it as it was now..I often feel as though I am the criminal, not they, which is what is intended..

What a sad incident. Inhuman. But your excellent painting seems to blot that tragedy out. Yes. Bad memories of the past must be blotted out and one should look forward to a brighter future. Life sucks most of the time! A fine portrait painting from you. I like it.
