At first glance a very simplistic image but as you look into the photo the clarity texture and intricate pattern on the leaf shows how nature can still be beautiful even in death of the fallen leaves. :)

Very nice photograph of a leaf up close and great contest entry. The detail is really good as you have captured the dry and cracked details of the leaf. I liked the way you framed the leaf with some of the leaf left out at the top. The lighting and shadows are done well. Good luck in the contest.

Nice detail on this photograph.
Very crisp details. You can see every dried out vein and crinkle.
I like the dark shades beneath the leaf, giving it a nice relief.
This would make a great water color!
