I love this leaf picture! It is simple, yet the clarity and detail in all the veins of the leaf are very intricate. Very well done! Thank you for posting !

This is a very pleasing composition with the crackling texture of the leaf and the colors that remind me of cocoa. I like the cropping and the small tear in the leaf. Not sure it is a genuine macro image, but very nice nonetheless.

Maybe it is because I love these "miniscapes", but this is a great image. Composition, exposure, and detail are wonderful. Thanks for sharing and good luck.

Very sharp detail of veining in a maple leaf past it's prime.I like how you chose not to show the entire leaf, the shot resembles the out stretched fingers of an aged hand with age spots and defined veins. Coloration saturation good. This shot is proof that a leaf doesn't need to be colorful to be beautiful!

this is a powerful image, as the focus is on a single dead leaf. the way it lies crumpled on the ground is quite sad but then the whole cycle of life begins, when the worms bring it underground and enrich the soil.

A beautiful & dried up Maple or Sycamore leaf dried up & showing signs of cracking up to return it's goodness to the first floor beneath. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
