Beautiful drawing! Love how you have rendered the bear so intricately with colored pencil and pen. The highlights are a nice touch. Given the focus on the bear's face, I would have liked to see more emphasis placed on the eyes, as they are not as expressive as a portrait usually allows. That being said, I don't know the quality of the reference photo either. All in all a great drawing.

You put the spirit and strength of this bear in the picture....I can actually feel the character of the bear's happiness....yes every animal has character...in this picture the bear is smiling and looks very friendly. It's fur is very thick and warm looking..the hairs show that it's fur is also drawn in different directions, to give off that illusion of fur!!!.The different patterns and directions show depth by using color values of different tones. One can appreciate the realness of such a wonderful drawing! Well Done!
