Excellent entry for the fur on an animal contest. The close up framing lets you see the fur in detail. Love the composition of the fawn wrapped in a u shape. The lighting makes the subject's fur seem soft. Love it.

A very good entry for the contest. This close up cropping almost gives this an abstract quality. Focus is nice and sharp and the colors are well rendered. The single blade of green grass is a nice touch. Best of the best in the contest ~ Steve

A superb close up. The tight framing is perfect and the detail in the fur is excellent. I like the colors but might clone out that bit of grass across the fawn's nose. Best of luck in the contest.
