Shiloh is a beautiful golden boy! You have photographed him very well with good detail to show his silky fur and great details in his face, I love his eyes! He's really got a hold of that green apple and I can see bits of grass stuck to it too! Very well presented!

Finest artist notes I read in a while.
The camera technique is of high quality. I see excellent detail and fine focusing on all of the visible parts of this fine dog. The eyes are well shown and sharp. There is a catch light and, I think your reflection in each eye - Like it.
The composition is well framed with fine placement of the central subject. This presentation has good initial visual impact.
Colors and tonal range are near monochrome. Visual color range is harmonious and does clash.
The one recommendation I would offer is get a lower angle on the subject, one knee down will do it. The dog will follow you with its head. As you kneel its head will drop to eye level. This brings the eyes level, and keeps the catch light but losses your reflection. also the ears will fall forward and away making the features of its face stand out - impact.
Everything else about this take is fine and will do well in the contest.
