Sounds like the makings of a fun day. Yes, unfortunately, the weather has been clear and sunny but I do not think that warm is entirely accurate. Dungeness crab? Yum!

AWESOME!! The Golden Gate...wow! What a wonderful adventure you had on a beautiful day! I bet you hated for it to be over. Except for the meal! :D

The blues are the initial impact for me here. both the water and the sky have a depth enough black in them to allow them to give your composition the true feeling of scope of distance and large water. The small bridge in the distance is a perfect bg. Nice job assuring the level line... as there are definite diagonals running in several different directions here...not only in the bridge..but in the wake of your boat. LOVE IT!!! I especially love seeing that back corner of the boat. So it's an inboard motor? Very, very awesome. I can see lots of differences in that small corner between and ocean going cruiser and the lake cruisers that we have in our neck of the woods. Thank you for sharing. A complete pleasure to view and imagine. And an outstanding capture...Not easy to sustain sharpness throughout the frame in a moving boat! Nice job!

Thanks so much for your interest in this image and your keen observations. Yes, an inboard. Lots of other items on this boat since it is intended to be used for ocean recreation. A radar unit for navigation in fog. A emergency band radio for Coast Guard contact. Two batteries, one in reserve. GPS navigation/tracking locations. An emergency location beacon that goes off it if gets wet (like if the boat sinks). A crab pot puller, just like in the series Deadliest Catch! :)

A beautiful picture of the Golden Gate Bridge disappearing as you head out into the Pacific ocean the wash behind your boat showing us the direction of your boat. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
When I think of Dugeness I think of the place in Kent on the south east coast of England.
