Great capture of these two cardinals one male and one female looking in opposite directions. Kind of reminds me of an old married couple that are tired of each other. The branches going in a diagonal and a horizontal make for a great composition. Your focus is sharp and clear and good detail on the birds and the tree. The faded out background give the photo a good depth of field. Nice work.

Great capture of these two cardinals one male and one female looking in opposite directions. Kind of reminds me of an old married couple that are tired of each other. The branches going in a diagonal and a horizontal make for a great composition. Your focus is sharp and clear and good detail on the birds and the tree. Nice catch light in both Mr&Mrs eyes.fab stop action and lovely DOF.
I may only suggest to clone out the branch in left hand corner.
I believe Santa is sending you a Photo Shop program that will make this easy to remove.
His elf told me you were VERY GOOD to Sange this year!!

I like honesty and loyalty G~Race...you were very kind to me and my neighbors when we had no power, food the week after Irma blew in.

And a grand looking pair they make too! Your fine and central composition captures a nice nature shot. I simply love those beaks as we in Britain do not have such birds. Exposure and sharpness are good. Well done and good luck!

What is terrific about this is not only that you caught both but the eye catch is perfect. In Avian photography they say you need to get the eye sharp and then the bird will follow...the post of both are so perfect in almost profile and the bokeh delights.
If I were you I would clone out that branch that is in the upper L hand corner that would be oh so easy to do and nobody would know you monkeyed with it....it would just give you a cleaner shot.
...........and in case you are wondering if this is allowed because you already have it posted in a contest YES....it is allowed ...when you go to re-upload the corrected version don't forget to press SAVE button.
