I love the play of light on this piece the glow of grasses makes it a standout and the frame in darkness hugs the whole piece.
Top notch....as always.

Excellent frame work and good contest entry. I almost feel like I was here at one time. The framing of the castle with the window is perfect. The detail in the stonework is excellent. This is a very artistic photograph. Good luck in the contest.

nice capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of seeing the castle thru the door frame is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

An excellent and strong entry to the competition, taken from a great vantage point in great lighting that shows the shaded and square side to this old doorway, and the sunny and rounded side with the overgrown foliage and the perfect shape of the castle, captured with long DOF and good clarity, positioned well at the top of the frame itself. Neatly cropped and nice contrasting colour throughout, a great shot and best of luck in the competition! :)
