Yes, perfect in b/w as colour would have distracted us from the circles. Also wonderful is the time of day this was shot as the shadows of the circles further engage the eye. Thoughtful point of view. This will be hard to beat.

Shot a while back on B/W film! An experiment with a really surprising outcome. Thanks for the very nice review.

A great contest entry. So glad to see you present this in black and white. It's perfect for this shot. This shot is hard to pull the eyes away from. Your composition just draws the viewer right in all the way to the back of the shot. Well done. Thanks for sharing. Good luck in the contest.

A very fine perspective on this unusual bike rack. I like the way it fills the frame and still shows a bit of the surroundings. Excellent details and strong composition that should fare well in this contest. Best of luck in the voting.

This has to be the winner on creativity. It certainly meets the criteria for the contest as it is circles inside of circles and done in an artsy abstract way with the shadows spiraling beneath the main shape. Love it and good luck in the contest.

A fine entry for the contest! You have shot in well. The shadows in the black and white finish add to the depth of the image. The framing, light and shadows have worked well. Good luck in the contest!

Interesting concept. To try to really look at it can make you dizzy like op art. I think we should train a dog to go through the racks. Thank you for sharing. Good luck with this image

Very cool. The clarity is great. The angle of the shot of this spiral bike rack is great. The capture of the light is great. The image is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

Interesting street shot here. I like the shadows in this one and feel that's what really brings the image to life. Looks like its a fine day for black and white shooting with high contrast and you took good advantage of the fact. Good lighting and exposure control. Good depth of field.
Good contrast and tones. Good center of interest and story telling ability.
Nice technique and technical excellence. Well done!

Congrats!
