This is beautiful. I love the nostalgia of the piece given by the colors and velvety appearance. In spite of the soft appearance, details of flower and of the fern in the background are well defined. The hyacinth reminds of a dancer. I like the motion of the white and green bands in contradiction to the pose of the dancing hyacinth.

This is Lovely the way you created the gorgeous background and the use of light and soft shadows.

Wow! Happy New Year Annie! This is one spectacular flower and you have given it prima donna center stage status. White is colorless, but in the garden its extremes of value and purity give it more power than the richest red. Your lighting spectacular with incredible details. Your central composition is engaging. Your artists background adding beauty and interest to this piece. Outstanding photography and post-processing skills. Thanks for sharing! Worthy of a six star!

Informative artist's notes.
Curly, dainty & bubbly capture!
Dramatic one sided illumination.
Dynamic modification.
Monochromatic backdrop pops out subject nicely.
Thanks for sharing...

Comment from Life is but a dream.
I never knew that, so thank you for enlightening me.
I like the way you have presented this hyacinth in that special way you do your flowers which gives it a dreamy look. I also like the colour palette which is both warm and muted....it feels right.

A Classic Annie image. I always look forward to seeing what you artistically come up with next. This one is really well done and I'll be switched if I am not out of Sixes already. Please accept my Cyber Six as a poor substitute. Thanks for sharing this one Annie ~ Steve

I don't know how you captured such remarkable detail from this flower. It's more than just the lighting. I can almost feel the texture of the petals. I like the addition of the fern and the way the shapes compliments the hyacinth shapes. The background swirls also have a lovely pattern.
