It's a fantastic pov.
I believe this changes the field of depth dramatically .
It's a well framed piece with trees on each side .
A silent shroud of snow .
Nice job and thank you for sharing .

It does John...although the wood shed roof is a lot lower than the house roof. Thank you so much for checking this one out. Do really appreciate it.

You really know how to compose these shots, Deb. Beautifully framed and anchored by the fir trees which then draw the viewer's down the center and into the snowy wonderland. Crisp and clear and cold! Wonderfully done.

I think you got a pretty level looking view for being on the rooftop! The center tree is lovely with the light snow covering and the lacy branches. Looks like you caught some snowfall too.

The wood shed roof is only about 9' on the back side Grace (probably 12' on the front) but this is from the back side so I wasn't as far off the ground as I'd be on a house roof.....and yes, it was snowing. Thank you so much for having a look at this one. Always happy to find YOU at the end of a review.

Sounds like you get lots of exercise in your neck of the woods in winter! Yes, changing heights can frequently give you different enjoyable perspectives for photography. Your image is well composed, sharp and has good exposure. Nicely done!

LOL. I'd rather snow-shoe than shovel Nik....any day...but THAT doesn't keep my roof from caving in. Fortunately, usually only have to shovel it 2 or 3 times a season. Thanks so much for the fine review. I do appreciate it.

I love this shot because it is so classical in its concept and execution and in its atmosphere; The light, colour and the composition have worked well. Bravo!A virtual 6 for you!

Another literally cool capture of this ice covered forested area.

Naturally framed chilly landscape.
An artistic rendition. Monochromatic colors. Excellent details & features. Impressive setting & textures.

Good perspective & long depth of field...

Thanks for sharing...

Yow,Deb!
The thought of trying to stand on my house's steeply pitched roof to shovel snow off of it makes me really glad that I had a metal roof installed several years ago! ( The snow just slides off it now! )
I'm really enjoying this good looking 'aerial view' that you've presented us with,my friend!
A 'Good Show' ?
Yep,I think so! : D

LOL Fortunately Sean I planned the wood shed roof to be flat. Just a slight pitch. The front is about 3 or 4' higher than the back...and there's shingles on it so my feet have something to grab. I used to do the house roof myself too but it's REALLY steep and two years ago I had tin put on the front side....OMG no way I shovel that roof anymore. Thank you so much for your wonderful review and generous rating. I just love a 'Good Show!'

This is truly just a beautiful winter scene and is so peaceful and untouched.
I love the snow covered
Evergreens and the covered
Evergreens in the background.
A gorgeous color of white and forest deep green adds so much winter beauty to this.
Wonderful capture.
