Quite a nice shot presented here which looks autumnal! I fully understand your situation regarding photography and your career! I was in the same position in my teaching career! Your image is well composed,, sharp and has good exposure!

Nice capture of the dead and dried leaves. You have composed well and thoughtfully. Excellent details with good sharp focus. The image has good visual and initial impact. I enlarged this so I could get a kitten eyed View of this leaf that is the dominant light brown one and the others which are green and dark brown. Cool idea. Some on here might say that the main leaf should not leave the page. I have been dinged for that. Well done. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image
