I have always loved your use of light in your work along with your Annie magic with filters and layers.
I often find any kind of seed pod to be photographable like this beauty here.
I love the low key style of light and the diagonal Placement within the frame.
The added touch of the spider web is superb.
Fine work Cara!

I have never seen these either and they do look great. Lots of character to them and your fine detail and attractive presentation really let us take full appreciation of them. Well done and a neat share.

an outstanding composition Annie: you show great details of the seed pods and with that oil paint filter they become punchier. Love your added special touches....always have.

This plant looks like it has claws as in a crab poking out from the top of the plant. So cool. I like the way you softened and muted the background. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image.

an outstanding composition Annie: it takes some time to discover all details of the dry flower itself; I like the added spider web and the white feather;

Spectacular light handing with sharp focus show casing all the beauty found in nature and revealing incredible details. The spider web is adding to the interest of your scene...but it's those details and fibers and your monochromatic shades of brown creating dynamics to your image. Photography and post-pressing at it's best. Thanks for sharing! Worthy of a six star!

Well,they certainly have a really interesting look to them,Annie!
It's somewhat Surreal and it makes me think of what the dessicated corpse of an Alien arachnid might look like!
Cool! : D
