I really love this photo. I like how you but a background that is not distracting to the main subject of the photo. It's beautiful how you captured the seed pods that make a home for the spider. Beautiful symbiotic relationship. The main subject is very focused and clear. Great framing.

Wow! I cannot quite say what this photo make me imagine in my immediate viewing. Spiders, pinching bugs.... And that single feather is a huge impact...as if the poor bird was caught in this foray of ...whatever.. So that is my initial impression. But I can say that I am intrigued by this scientific capture of Canna Lily seed pods. I have not made the effort to have Cannas in my garden. And so this is truly interesting to me. And you have also made it a composition.. An attractive one at that. Your light and shadows have worked perfectly. And I think you have a wonderful sense of the sienna browns in a composition. Yours are always blended beautifully. Thanks for sharing this Annie.

A beautiful artistic picture of the Canna Lily seed pods the wilted petals clinging to them & a Spider's Webb spun around them a white feather caught up in the web the beauty of this scene enhanced by the lighting coming from behind so it appears to glow out from the background. Artistic composition beautiful framing,& lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

I was a tiny bit worried and terrified to open this from the thumbnail view when I saw the web and the multitude of textures...the title was reassuring :) Grateful this is a plant! The pods themselves have interesting designs and textures that are accentuated nicely with your effects. The lighting is also flattering.

Annie I love the artistry in this and the subject matter. This one immediately caught by eye and made me want to view every inch of amazing detail. The seed pods are really beautiful, it's amazing how other stages of flowers can look or be made to look so pretty. The web adds a wonderful interest to this photo
Giving it a truly unique appearance. The artistry is just
Excellent. Photo clarity and technical aspects are perfection.
