Jack, you have taken a classic scene and made it your own - that my friend is what photography and photographers are all about.
I don't know which I like more the split rail fence in front of the quintessential country church or the way the fall colors wrap their arms around the church.
Center framing of the
church makes a complete scene.
Your camera technique is very good but with a minor adjustment to White Balance the fall colors will really 'POP'.
The next time you are out shooting fall color on an over cast day such as this, use Custom White Balance to change the Kelvin Scale to 6500-7000.
Most DSLRs are preset to 5000. As such a lot of color is lost.
Setting the White Balance to less than 5000 favors the Blue/Green side of the spectrum. Setting the White Balance at greater that 5000 favors the Red/Yellow side of the spectrum.
Making these changes to WB will not affect the whites of the church.
Churches and other houses of worship just seem to photograph easily. Its as though God wants us to see his best face ... B-)) Bob

Thank you for your review and I really do appreciate the advice that you give me. I don't understand making adjustments or anything like that, I am just and old truck driver that likes to take photos and share them with everyone, I do appreciate it though. JackJr.
