Excellent capture of this famous statue depicting the end of WW II. And a wonderful entry into this contest! And although there are few options for a choice in framing a fixed statue...you have surely used the sky as part of the drama. The gray clouds appear to be breaking up and promising clear skies again. You know how I am with post processing ...over to top re-dos. I'm sure those trees would not be in my image of this...I couldn't help myself but to remove them. LOL! I think they work very well in your image, Allan! Again..excellent capture..light, shadows, white balance and clarity are all excellent! A pleasure to view! Good luck in the contest!

Thanks for your review and time. I am sure you would have worked your magic on the background. It was a cloudy day so I could not frame the sculpture with a blue sky and white clouds. Hey wait a minute-maybe more edits needed???!!
