I have always loved the beach and I love this scene. Just where I would like to be. :) Very nice composition with great placement of the umbrella and chair to the right of the frame. Great capture of that wave, the water looks a little rough, I always find that entertaining to watch. Excellent entry for this contest...the best of luck. ~Alveria

This is a great capture of the waves! I really like the height and the colors. The exposure is very nice. The chair an umbrella look like a spot that could get wet at any second. I would sit there :)

A beautiful picture of the waves crashing on to the pebbly beach the pebbles giving that wet crunching sound as the water moves them one on another the breeze blowing off the sea blowing the flaps under the beach umbrella shading you chair from the English Sunshine if I'm not mistaken. Where it's quite acceptable to sit on the beach fully dressed & not stand out from the crowd while listening to the waves crashing on the beach & the gulls swooping & calling over head. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Love this scene. I wish I could be doing that now. The waves looks strong. The chair looks like it is waiting for a visitor to sit and enjoy the ocean with. Nice composition and details.

it does look like a summer
day on the beach in the uk,
it can get quite windy on some of our coasts here,
I like the placement of the umbrella and chair in the scene this would not have worked so well if it were in the centre, good colour, and clarity, nice capture of those crashing waves. good luck in the contest.

Looks like you had the beach to yourself which would never happen here this time of year with all the snowbirds running to Florida!
