This has got to be the most important and interesting shot that could have been taken last year and I compliment you for capturing it at just the right time, when the 'ring' showed. Thanks for sharing.

This is totally amazing. How far did you have to go to get to Nebraska. What you have captured through your lens is absolutely worth the drive. The effect with the glowing diamond is very cool. It looks like it is smoking and beautiful. I'm giving you a 6 for your ambition and wonderful capture.

You are so nice! Thank you for the gold star :) It was 560 miles from my place to Kearney, Nebraska! Long drive and traffic was ridiculous! Getting back took over 12 hours to make the 8 hour drive - due to traffic congestion, but it was completely worth it and we have to wait until 2024 for the next one! I'll probably be driving to Texas for that one :)

you have captured this really well, it does look like a ring with a stone shining on it, eye catching, wonderful to see.

A very nice astronomical image from a photographer who is knowledgeable about eclipses posted here! Your fine composition grants us a good and enjoyable look at the action so far away. Exposure and sharpness are good. Well done!

WOW! I was hoping someone captured shots of the eclipse. I only got about 90% in California so we did not get Baily's Beads. But...YOU DID! You captured it beautifully. This is such a stunning shot and one that is really difficult to capture. Congratulations on a unique and special experience and the shot to go along with it. Awesome!

Thank you very much for the high rating! That is very nice :) I was happy to get this one, especially since it is usually such a long time between total eclipses that are close enough to travel to. Have to wait until 2024 for the next one!

How interesting, Envision. I am disabled due and can't travel so I missed the eclipse. You took a good photo with clarity. Framing is good. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image
