A fantastic piece drawn very skilfully with graphite in the style of a 14th or 15th century portrait artist - and pulled off brilliantly, I wouldn't have known otherwise had I not read the info, and a nice poem additional to the image to add an extra level to the piece of art. The proportions are great and the detail and expression on the face is brilliantly lifelike and gives a sense of humanity and emotion. The intricately drawn, multi-coloured garments she is wearing are brilliantly chosen and accurate in both style and the colouring of the era it is portraying, with the small brown Lute held delicately in her hands completing the piece. A detailed and well composed piece of art, great work and best of luck in the polls! :)

this is a really great and grand looking picture. skilfully captured with the stated art tools. amazing colour and natural effect. she seems to have no blood in the face, which gives an aged look.

Super work. I like this work because it is so classical in its concept and execution .you have so meticulously drawn every details so realistically! Thecolors play off of each other well, the image does an excellent job of conveying the title, visually pleasant, well executed. Just nice..Good luck in the contest!
