Presentation and visual impact are creative and mysterious! The black and white really makes this piece come alive. It's so spooky! Lighting and framing are very nice. A great entry for the 2018 challenge! I love it!

Awesome shot. Changing it to black and white adds a certain depth to it. I like the details to it, the fog and the trees is so cool. It's even hard for me to find words to describe how I like this picture. All I can say is Awesome!! And good luck in the contest. I'll have to make sure I vote!

Even though I hate winter.

You have given us a lovely photo of what a great winter day can look like after some warmth.

Fog is very intriguing to me. But then I am not old enough to drive yet, that might change as I get older.

I think you made this great by removing the color and using black and white.

Great presentation, thanks for sharing.

I just love fog in photos or paintings for the mood it evokes and the mystery it presents drawing one into the story of what they are viewing.
Nice angle using the trees to frame out your shot and fine black and white conversion.

This is a cool shot of a foggy river scene. The fog adds mystery to the landscape. The three trees on the right anchor the scene along with the sloping hillside on the left. Nice work and good luck in the contest.

this is a very well exposed black and white image showing a wide tonal range.

The details are clearly seen through the various planes of photograph. You have included anchor points for our eyes to rest upon and the framing and compositional style is excellent with the trees holding our eyes "in" while the distant misty focal point pulls us into the depth of this post.

Superlative work.

I love this photograph, and converting it to black and white has maximized the chill factor. The clarity and sharpness of the trees in the foreground is great. An all around wonderful shot.

Interesting capture of this phenomenon with the clouds so low creating the fog that in turn looks like snow. Stark portrait. I am assuming you used black and white film. Nice composition and framing. Focus is fine. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image
