Talitha Cumi. Even the words are beautiful, and I think it must be Aramaic, because this is the language Jesus used. Then you have of course pictured this touching scene in the most excellent way.

I especially like the strong contrast between light and dark, and how all the light is falling on the dead girl. As always the drawing is extremely detailed with lovely facial expressions. The shadows are placed where they should be giving textures to clothing and bed clothes.

The drawing is also framed in a perfect way and Jesus and the little girl have got a fine placement on the paper. Indeed a beautiful and well done drawing with a strong composition, and I wish you luck with the contest. I don't have them, but this is a 6 stars drawing.

Beautiful drawing depicting this special scene. I love the soft textures you achieve with your graphite. Excellent light and shade and I like how you show the different textures of bedding, clothes and skin. Lovely composition. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

An excellent drawing depicting this religious scene with amazing lifelike accuracy and proportion, with the physical form and facial features, particularly on the little girl who is more visible, incredibly sharp and brilliantly drawn, with great care and fantastic use of shading throughout. It's hard to believe this was just done by hand with graphite!!! A fantastic piece that shows very rare skill and precision, great work and best of luck in the competition! :)

This is a nice black and white drawing. I view it as similar to black and white photographs by looking carefully at the negative spaces. The negative dark spaces are Christ and the light and the bed are the girl/earth. The opposite from what I would think. Perhaps he gave all of his light to her. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image
