Hi Carl.For me as an artist, it is ok if there's no warning sign.All artists usually have a nude painting session and some nude photography.I guess all of us here are well professional enough for that kind of nudityð???anyway I like the painting because it's my weakness to draw anatomy involved.

Very lovely artwork and great contest entry. This is done in all earth tones that work well in the artwork. The woman is quite lovely and posed in a way that shows off her human form well. All the proportions and shading are done well. Good luck in the contest.

I think this is a beautiful act painting Carl, and especially the hands are well done, because I know how difficult it is to get them right. I also like very much the brown and black background an the lovely hues of the skin.
Personally I would have preferred this painting without the carpet, but I fully appreciate that this is a matter of taste. This is however done paying very good attention to details, and the face has such a sensual expression. The brush strokes are perfect with a good flow, and you have used high lights in an excellent way.
And, before I forget, the anatomy of the body is perfect, and the format and framing of the painting is perfect. The woman has got a perfect placement on the canvas.
Indeed a lovely and well done painting Carl.

The Eternal Beauty post has the explanation about why I decided to do a few nude female paintings in the first place within the first paragraph. I appreciate your comment about no indecency. Had any element of indecency been introduced in any of my female nude paintings, I would have failed to achieve my goal with doing the paintings. Thank you for letting me know I succeeded.

Thank you for your five star vote and your review. I suggest you take another look at your painting 'She is an Artist'. You have a serious underpainting in play here. It has great potential to be a contender if it is properly finished. I know you know what I mean because you have already seen it in your mind but suffered from impatience and self doubt.
