The light from the Eiffel tower shows the depth of the water level well. Kind of a dramatic rise of water. I like how you show the water flooding the street and that you included the tower and city lights.

It is sad to see the flooding but your night Capture offered a nice view of the tower all lit up along with the city lights.
Had to laugh at " ol' doubting Thomas" giving you less than for being a non believer. It's a thing called the News..it's broadcast here in Florida about the flooding in Paris.

I do love Paris with all the lights and flare. You have really did the Eifel Tower justice and caught it when it was lit up. The reflections in the water are stunning. And the framing with the tower in the upper corner works well with the composition.

Wow! This is beautiful. A shame about the flooding but, oh my, it did create a wonderful canvas for this shot. The reflection of the Eiffel Tower aglow is so beautiful. Your night photography skills are exquisitely on display in this image. Thanks so much for sharing.

Oh my! I think you might have come up with a shot of the Eiffel Tower that has not been done. The reflection from the flooding has given you a fabulous shot with the reflection on the River Seine of the Eiffel Tower and the city light of Paris at night. Worthy of a six star! Captivating! Thanks for sharing!

good journalism photography here, thanks for the notes, you can see the water and I like the diminishing rail that leads the eye to the back ground,
a good capture of the Eiffel tower lit up and its soft reflection on the calm water which has flooded considerably. an interesting and out of the usual image.

what a wonderful reflective image, like the details and depth and colors you have captured here, is this the one the person said didn't look like flooding? if it is he needs his eye checked or maybe should put his glasses on, a pleasure to look at. Thank you for sharing. dale
